Happy Memorial Day everyone!
Today is a day that we celebrate life and our freedom.
However, we must never forget that freedom comes at a price.
We are a free nation because of the brave men and women in uniform who left their families and loved ones to fight our wars across oceans and continents.
These heroes fought and died to secure the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted.
We must never forget them or their sacrifices. They will live in our minds and hearts for all eternity.
Today, on behalf of our beloved Founder and President, we say to every Regency Nursing resident and their families who had/has loved ones in uniform (and certainly those of our many residents who are veterans themselves), we salute you, we bless you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Well, what a weekend it was!
I was up early, ran 20 miles and went off to visit two of our magnificent Regency Nursing facilities in New Jersey.
Yesterday morning was spent at Regency Park in Hazlet.
In the afternoon, I arrived at Regency Heritage in Somerset.
In a word; the place is absolutely breathtaking.
It is a 5-star rated facility set across lush and sprawling grounds full of greenery and tasteful décor.
I met with our wonderful residents and their families and visited the local hospitals.
There are several noteworthy facilities in Somerset, including the Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center.
Regency Jewish Heritage is a crown jewel of Post-acute care and rehabilitation in Somerset.
I took these pictures yesterday:
