May 23, 2014: Three Hillsborough centenarians were among the more than 40 Somerset County centenarians scheduled to be honored for Older Americans Month at a luncheon Wednesday, May 21, at the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, at 380 DeMott Lane in Franklin Township.
The event is hosted by the Regency with the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services.
Hillsborough’s Pauline Alexander, Mary Menapace and Margaret Snear — all 103 years old — were scheduled to be among the group.
This year’s honorees include 10 Bridgewater Township and 14 Franklin Township residents.
Additional honorees are from four from Bernards Township, five from Raritan and others from Bernardsville, Warren, Green Brook, Branchburg and Somerville.
