Message from our Regency Founder and President, David Gross, LNHA:
Good afternoon Regency Jewish Heritage Family and Friends,
As we approach the end of the year on the Jewish calendar, I’d like to remind you of what makes us so special and share my personal Rosh Hashanah blessings on behalf of our entire family.
There are many skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in New Jersey.
What makes a truly exceptional facility stand apart is not simply the services it offers, it is how those services are delivered and how residents and their families feel while receiving them.
That is where Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset, New Jersey, continues to shine.
For more than 25 years, Regency has built a tradition of excellence centered around one simple philosophy: enriching the lives of the people entrusted to its care. That philosophy is reflected in the facility’s commitment to clinical excellence, rehabilitation, independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Over 25 years ago, I coined the expression that Regency is the place “Where Caring Comes to Life!” It was true then and it is true today.
A Leader in Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
Regency Jewish Heritage offers comprehensive post-acute and skilled nursing care for individuals recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization. Its rehabilitation programs include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, wound care, and specialized neuro-muscular therapy.
But rehabilitation is about more than therapy sessions. It is about helping someone regain confidence, independence, and the ability to return home.
Recent family reviews reflect that philosophy. Families have praised Regency’s rehabilitation team for being encouraging, knowledgeable, and focused on helping loved ones regain their strength and return to their daily routines. Other families have highlighted the kindness and dignity shown by nurses and staff throughout the recovery process.
That combination of clinical expertise and personal attention is a major reason Regency has become such a trusted name in the Central New Jersey community.
Care Rooted in Jewish Values
What makes Regency Jewish Heritage particularly distinctive is the way healthcare is integrated with Jewish tradition and community.
Located on the Oscar and Ella Wilf Campus for Senior Living, Regency provides an environment where Jewish values and traditions are embraced as an important part of everyday life.
From Glatt Kosher dining and Jewish traditions to a welcoming environment designed to encourage family and community connections, residents can experience a sense of familiarity and belonging while receiving sophisticated medical care.
And that matters.
For families making the difficult decision about where a parent, grandparent, spouse, or loved one should receive care, knowing that their loved one is not only medically well cared for, but also understood, respected, and surrounded by a community that feels familiar, is what makes all the difference.
More Than a Healthcare Facility; A Community
Walk through Regency Jewish Heritage and you quickly see that the environment is designed to feel like much more than a traditional nursing facility.
Beautifully landscaped grounds, comfortable gathering spaces, dining and entertainment areas, and a full schedule of activities help create an atmosphere where residents can remain engaged and connected. The facility describes its environment as one that combines comfort, elegance, and the warmth of home.
That commitment to quality of life is just as important as clinical care.
Because at the end of the day, exceptional senior care isn’t only about treating an illness. It’s about caring for the person.
A Reputation Built on Trust
Regency’s reputation has been built over decades, not overnight.
Our organization points to more than 25 years of excellence, experienced staff, and a longstanding commitment to maintaining high professional and quality standards.
That commitment is also reflected in the experiences families continue to share. Recent online reviews have highlighted compassionate staff, strong rehabilitation programs, cleanliness, communication, and the feeling that residents are treated with genuine kindness and respect.
For a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, those are more than compliments. They are the foundation of trust.
And trust is perhaps the most important thing a healthcare organization can earn.
Looking Ahead With Pride
As Regency Jewish Heritage continues serving families throughout Somerset and the surrounding communities, our mission remains clear: provide outstanding healthcare while preserving the dignity, independence, traditions, and quality of life of every individual entrusted to its care.
That is what makes Regency Jewish Heritage more than a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
It is a community built around caring.
Shana Tova from the Regency Family
As we approach Rosh Hashanah, we take a moment to reflect on the year that has passed and look forward with hope, gratitude, and renewed purpose.
To our residents, families, staff, friends, and the entire Regency community:
Shana Tova U’Metukah!
May the coming year be filled with health, happiness, peace, prosperity, and countless blessings.
May we all be written and sealed for a good year, surrounded by family, friends, and the people who make our lives meaningful.
From our Regency family to yours, L’Shana Tova!
With all my blessings,
David Gross, LNHA
