Regency Gardens
Darlenia is a role model for all staff choosing healthcare as a vocation. She goes ‘above and beyond’ at Regency Gardens, by greeting each resident as an individual and engaging them in friendly conversation and as a member of the Regency family!
Darlenia is one of our highly qualified CNA’s and we salute her!
Regency Jewish Heritage
Rekha began working at Regency Heritage in 1996, For the past 14 years, she has been our Post-acute unit clerk. She is dependable, compassionate and kind towards our patients. She is the first face they see upon admission and she radiates happiness and good cheer.
We salute her!
Regency Park
Theresa is the 7-3 charge nurse at Regency Park for our 2nd floor skilled unit. Theresa can always be found lending a helping hand and does everything with a smile. On occasions when a resident must be hospitalized, Theresa will go visit of her own volition, because she cares deeply. This is but one example of her compassion and kindness!

Regency Grande
Aida is one of our beloved CNA’s at Regency Grande in Dover, NJ. She exemplifies the Regency principles of compassion, devotion and kindness. Her smile and professionalism endears her to both our residents and their families!

Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute, Rehabilitation & Nursing Center located at 380 DeMott Lane in Somerset, hosted the annual Summit for a consortium of Advisory Councils from the 21 County Offices on Aging called Act-4-NJ, (Advisory Councils Together For New Jersey).
Act-4-NJ is a unified and knowledgeable network of advocates and consumers who seek to develop and promote a plan of action that supports programs, funding and legislation relevant to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life of New Jersey’s senior residents.
The group of 65 attendees were welcomed by the leadership of New Jersey Area Agencies on Aging (NJ4A), and Marty Bengio, Administrator, Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute, Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
The Executive Directors for counties offices on Aging and Disability Services throughout the State, attended as well. Regency Jewish Heritage was honored to host this very important event, and congratulate the organization and agencies for all the good work and efforts that they are doing on behalf of the seniors of New Jersey.

Wayne, NJ – On a summer’s evening, amongst beautiful gardens, glasses clinked, music drifted through the crowd, the smell of fresh, lush gardens permeated the area, with lively conversation and laughter ringing through the group.
This special evening took place on Thursday, June 12th, with over 125 attendees who joined in at the Wine Tasting event held by St. Joe’s Hospital, Wayne Auxiliary. The event was hosted at Regency Gardens Post-Acute, Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 296 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne.
This fundraiser will benefit St. Joe’s Hospital, Wayne campus, and go toward the pledge the Auxiliary has made to the hospital. The volunteer group is a dedicated committee of people, who work very diligently to make a difference in their community. The Auxiliary works in conjunction with the Foundation Office and Development Director, Susan Spatt of St. Joe’s Hospital, Wayne campus.
Many community members knew each other and it was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect in a relaxed, enjoyable environment, many old friends had an opportunity to reminisce, while new friendships were formed.
Warwick Valley Winery served samplings of wines and liqueurs, explaining the various combinations of flavors. Gourmet Pizza was served made freshly from a large pizza oven set outside on the patio grounds of Regency Gardens. The atmosphere provided beautiful surroundings with waterfalls, mature trees, koi ponds, and beautifully manicured grounds.
Live music serenaded the group, and photographer, Michael Lawrence, from Wayne, donated his services, taking photographs. Hot and cold appetizers were also served, along with soft beverages, for a variety of tastes. Vendors set up tables for their wares, and the attendees enjoyed a little shopping.
The collaboration and event was enjoyed by everyone present, and attendees commented that they would enjoy attending another evening like this next year!

Yesterday, I posted a beautiful testimonial letter we received from a grateful family at Regency Park in Hazlet.
Today, I’d like to highlight a beautiful letter we just received from a grateful family at Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset. The letter was addressed to Marlene Grossman, our superstar Admissions Director.
The letter is dated April 15, 2014, and reads as follows:
Dear Marlene,
My Dad F.M. was so lucky to have you as his last place of care. The last 20 days in Regency was so comfortable and warm for my Dad and was also really helpful for my Mom. You have a beautiful facility and grounds and you have a wonderfully caring and attentive staff of professionals. The service provided was also very professional. We really felt that you addressed every one of our needs in your effort to see that my Dad receive the best care.
The decision to place my Dad in Regency Heritage was the best decision we could have made!
Your nurturing and sensitive staff ensured his comfort as well as his safety and were instrumental in his decision to remain as a long term Regency resident. We also developed a close relationship with your staff and other happy Regency families.
The most poignant experience for me was going back to Regency to pick up my Dad’s possessions after he passed away. When the staff learned of his passing, several employees were brought to tears and stated that although he was with them for a relatively short amount of time, they had developed a love for him.
These words left a strong impression on my family and we will always remember this with affection.
I deeply appreciate that you took such wonderful care of my Dad and we would like to thank your entire staff in G2 and especially Emanuel and also Katie Ladner.

On April 9, 1994, Maribel Restrepo began working at Regency after volunteering as a teenager. Fast forward 20 years and that volunteer is now Activities Director here at Regency Park!
Resident Ray W. has developed a wonderful friendship with Maribel and when he heard about her service anniversary approaching he decided to honor her and all she does for our residents. He designed a certificate which he had printed up and ordered a cake for a small party in her honor. He invited residents and co-workers for coffee and cake and presented her with the framed certificate.
