RWJ Hospital Invites Regency To A Special Dedication!

I was proud tonight to join with Marty Bengio, our Corporate Administrator, in representing our Regency Founder, David Gross and the Regency Alliance on Senior Healthcare, at a special ‘by private invitation only’ dedication, hosted by the Presidium of the RWJ/Barnabas Hospital Foundation.

RWJ was officially dedicating the new Laurie Proton Therapy Center, located at 141 French street, in New Brunswick.

This cutting edge center, employs innovative technology in the fight against Cancer and is one of only 20 such locations offering this type of specialized proton therapy in the entire U.S.A!

As a preferred provider and sponsor of the hospital and its charitable work and foundation and in appreciation for our long and close relationship, we were honored to receive this personal invitation to attend the slide presentation and a private viewing of the proton machine and accelerator built an entire 6 stories underground!

What can I tell you, We were absolutely blown away by this technological marvel of ingenuity and by its robust potential to provide minimally invasive healing with little to no collateral damage to other inner bodily structures outside of the area of interest.

We heard introductory remarks by the new president of RWJ and by several foundation board members.

We also met with several cancer survivors who were treated by this very machine in the last year!

It was exceptionally poignant for them to return to the site and see the inner workings of the machine itself.

Everything was so futuristic, I made a joke about feeling like I was in a movie shoot for some sci-fi film!

It was truly a memorable night and an honor to represent our venerable organization.

We will soon meet the foundation members again at the upcoming RWJ golf event we will be sponsoring next month!
