From the desk of Marie Barnes, Corporate Marketing Director, Regency Nursing Centers, NJ:
On Monday evening, October 6, 2014, Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Center, 380 DeMott Lane, Somerset, hosted Chai Lights of Somerset Hadassah, a group from the active adult communities of Somerset Run, Renaissance communities and members from the surrounding area to hold their monthly meeting.
The group gets together on a regular basis and socializes, enjoys some light refreshments, along with having an interesting topic to discuss.
Barbara Yaney, presented an in-depth talk on the artist, Modigliani. Born in Italy, to a very educated family, the Jewish artist had a challenging life, yet was a very talented sculptor and painter.
Barbara, teaches part time at Rutgers, and presents her love and knowledge of the arts to a variety of groups and clubs. It was an extremely interesting evening, with lots of information, conversation and camaraderie.
Pictured is Barbara speaking to the group. For further information on Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Center, please call 732-873-2000, or visit, www.regencynursing.com.
