On October 22, 2014, Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Center, 380 DeMott Lane, Somerset, hosted a continuing education program for therapists in the community, which included physical and occupational therapists.
Yaffa Liebermann, Physical Therapist, Geriatric Clinical Specialist, certified by American Physical Therapy Association, and CEO of Prime Rehabilitation Services, Inc., presented:” “Respiratory System, Breathing Difficulty, and Energy Conversation. Anatomy Physiology and Treatment Ideas”. This was an interactive program allowing the large group attending to practice skills she has learned during her 47 years treating patients with breathing difficulties.
Along with the program, a delicious buffet was served, along with raffle prizes, and a tour of the 255 bed facility. The center consists of a 60 bed dedicated sub-acute wing, and large, modern rehabilitation room for patients to regain their strength and mobility as expeditiously as possible.
