Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take 3 of my children to the historic Great Falls of the Passaic River, which has been designated a national landmark.
This was my first time at the falls and I was amazed to discover this breathtaking scene of nature’s beauty, tucked away (literally) in the midst of an industrial area of Paterson, New Jersey. The contrast between drab factories and the beauty of the falls couldn’t have been more pronounced.
The waterfall is truly an oasis of beauty and tranquility amidst the cacophony of industrial projects and factories.
I thought about our beautiful nursing and rehab facility, Regency Grande, located in Dover, New Jersey.
While the area surrounding our nursing facility cannot truly be considered “industrial”, it does retain a certain ‘business district’ flavor.
Yet, when one steps into the Regency Grande Nursing facility, there is an immediate feeling of warmth and serenity, which is completely enveloping. It is truly and oasis of comfort and elegance in the community.
It isn’t just our senior residents and their families who appreciate the beauty and amenities that Regency Grande has to offer. Community residents and officials have also expressed their appreciation for this ‘gem’ in their midst.
Regency Grande is a haven for patients in the community who are seeking to rehab from an injury or procedure. It functions as both a short term rehab facility, as well as a long term residence for members of the community and beyond.
