Regency Gardens Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Centers partnered with St. Joseph’s, Wayne Auxiliary this year which resulted in a fabulous affair that was very successful.  The wine and gourmet pizza event formulated by the two organizations created a wonderful combination of relaxation, fun and enjoyment of good wine, gourmet pizza and live entertainment in the tranquil surroundings of Regency’s lovely gardens.  Over 100 members of the community attended this charitable event.

Regency Gardens Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Center is a 120 bed, Medicare and Medicaid facility.  Patients and residents of the facility enjoy exemplary features at the facility; premier nursing care, bright, cheery rooms, delicious food, and a full calendar of activities and events, and of course the plush, beautiful gardens to enjoy.

St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Auxiliary is a hard working group of energetic volunteers, devoted to fundraising and community service for the hospital.  The Auxiliary recently made a second pledge of $100,000 over 5 years to support the major capital improvement projects occurring at the St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital, including the expansion and renovation of the Operating Rooms, CCU and patient floors.    Throughout the year, they hold a number of different fundraising events and activities to reach this goal.

Regency Centers are extremely community minded and work with groups that contribute to the enhancement of the community.

On Wednesday, August 20th, Regency Gardens Administration and St. Joseph’s Wayne Auxiliary and the Foundation at St. Joseph’s Wayne met to finalize the pledge payment Regency committed to for the this year’s event, and to discuss next year’s plans for another wonderful, fun-filled event for the community at Regency Gardens.  Look for a Save the Date soon.
