Pushing The Envelope In Diabetes Health

If you know Regency, you’ll know that we LOVE healthcare technology. Any advancements in healthcare which benefits our patients, is something we eagerly embrace.

Under the leadership of the Regency Founder and President, David Gross, we have been at the forefront of every meaningful healthcare initiative and have set the standard in many respects.

It’s one of the reasons that we were one of the earliest adopters of Telemedicine.

A little while ago, I was chatting with Mark Benedek at Regency Gardens and he was excited to tell me about a mobile app for diabetes that one of his doctors was showcasing.

The device may have been in beta then, but it seems it no longer is now.

It turns out, WellDoc wants to help more people be well and our industry colleague, Nicole Stempak of IAdvanceSeniorCare.com, was all over this a few days ago in an op-ed piece she wrote.

This particular digital health company has partnered with Samsung Electronics to bring its newly-released consumer diabetes health app, BlueStar C, to market. The app will be added to the recently launched Samsung Health, a mobile marketplace for health and fitness, and integrated with its line of smart watches and fitness trackers.

“Our enhanced partnership with WellDoc gives us an opportunity to serve global consumers, who we believe are ready to embrace the combined health innovations that our companies plan to offer,” said Suntae Jung, vice president of Services R&D Team at Samsung Mobile Communications Business in a press release.

Mark, tell the good Doctor, we are all over it!
