“UNDER THE STARS,” WINE AND GOURMET PIZZA TASTING EVENT, JUNE 9, 2016
Regency Gardens is proud to welcome the summer with a fabulous evening “Under the Stars!”

Regency Gardens Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Centers is partnering with St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Auxiliary to host the third annual Wine and Gourmet Pizza Fundraiser, “Under the Stars”, on Thursday, June 9th at six o’clock.
The goal of the event is to help fund the many capital improvements occurring at the St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital, including the beautiful renovations of the patient floors.

Throughout the year, the auxiliary holds a number of different fundraising events to support St. Joseph’s Wayne, their local community hospital.
The wine and gourmet pizza event was formulated by the two organizations creating a wonderful combination of relaxation, fun, enjoyment of good wine, craft beer, gourmet pizza, food tasting from local restaurants and live entertainment in the tranquil surroundings of Regency’s lovely, lush gardens. Last year over 200 members of the community attended this charitable event. Many more are expected this year.
Regency Gardens Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Center is a 120 bed, Medicare and Medicaid facility. Patients and residents enjoy many advantages at the center, with premier nursing care, bright, cheery rooms, excellent dining, full calendar of activities and the beautiful gardens, they can enjoy daily. Regency Gardens is directly across the street from St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital.
Regency Centers are community minded and extremely proud to partner with St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Auxiliary to support the enhancement of the hospital and community. Information on Regency Gardens, call 973-7900, or visit, www.regencynursing.com.
For additional information regarding the event or to contribute to the hospital, contact Joanne Karas, President St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Auxiliary at 973-956-3392.

As part of our ongoing project to highlight our Regency Physicians, today I’d like to highlight a great Doctor and a dear friend, Dr. Fred Glatter!
Click on this link to read all about him.
Today we hosted a special presentation at Regency Heritage!
Dr. Bhavi Patel, specializes in Internal Medicine and is an exceptional and participating physician at Regency Heritage Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Dr. Patel has a long history of excellence in the Somerset community where she practices medicine and is affiliated with the local hospitals, including St. Peter’s and Robert Wood Johnson.
We are grateful for Dr. Patel’s long relationship and collaboration with Regency to offer the best in-patient rehabilitation and healing for her patients upon their discharge to us from the Hospitals.
More recently, Dr. Patel’s delightful and talented daughter, Krupa Patel, started to volunteer at Regency Heritage and has worked with our Recreation Director, Laurina Kuligowski, to bring smiles and joy to the faces of our residents!
Well, during the week of April 11th, we celebrated “National Volunteer Week” and I blogged about it right here.
We figured it would only be appropriate to recognize Krupa Patel for her dedication and compassion to enriching the lives of our residents!
So today we gathered together in our magnificent “Columbus room” at Regency Heritage to pay homage to Krupa and to present her with a special gift from our beloved Regency Founder and President, Mr. David Gross!
Thank you Krupa, you are a true Regency Star and exemplify why we have a well deserved reputation for truly being “The Place Where The Caring Comes To Life!!”
We took this photo together at the presentation!

Today, we are proud to highlight Dr. Thiru, MD, in our new Regency Physician Profile section.
