Thursday, September 18th, Regency Grande Post-Acute, Rehab and Nursing Centers, 65 North Sussex Street, Dover, held a continuing education program on the topic of Happiness and Peace for social workers and nurses. Pradep Nair, Happiness Consultant and President, of HomeWell Senior Care, presented the group from the community two hours of helpful and insightful tools on positive affirmations, and that happiness is a state of mind. Attendees at the seminar enjoyed an evening of optimistic thoughts, useful information, laughter and hands on techniques to brighten their day, and others around them. Regency Grande provided a delicious dinner buffet, as well as an ice cream sundae bar for dessert. Raffles were pulled, the group left enjoying the evening, and with happy thoughts. One social worker conveyed, “Loved it, made me smile”.
